Release APX-LGL-V3-DRAFT-2026-07-21 | Last updated July 21, 2026 | Effective date Pending legal approval
This document is prepared for APX launch readiness and should be reviewed by qualified legal/accounting counsel before paid public launch.
# THE APX METHOD™ — Recording and Media Policy
1. Two different permissions
APX separates:
recording for service delivery / learner replay
from:
permission to use voice, image, name, testimonial, or session excerpts for marketing/content
A learner may allow service recording without allowing promotional use.
2. Service recording
A live session may be recorded only when APX offers recording for that product and the required consent is captured. Recording may be unavailable due to technical limits, platform failure, privacy concerns, instructor safety, or operational limits.
3. Replay access
| Product | Draft replay target |
|---|---|
| Diagnosis | Pending founder approval; do not promise until final |
| Core | None by default |
| Plus | 2 weeks |
| Max | 4 weeks |
Replay may be view-only or download-disabled if APX configures Google Drive that way.
4. Retention and deletion
APX should delete or restrict recordings after the promised replay period unless legal hold, dispute, fraud, security, or mandatory-law retention requires otherwise.
Do not claim automatic deletion until the deletion job and Drive-trash/backups behavior are tested.
5. Promotional media
Promotional use requires a separate specific release identifying:
- content approved;
- channels;
- whether name, voice, face, or testimonial appears;
- whether paid ads are allowed;
- duration and territory;
- editing permission;
- withdrawal consequences;
- any incentive.
A broad checkout checkbox must not be used to take permanent promotional rights over all future sessions.
